William (Bill) Evans has been in the financial services industry for over 35 years. The majority of those years have been spent in partnership with Terri Steele at Evans and Steele Financial., LLC. Bill and Terri formed the company in 1994. The ability to be independent in thought and product has been a cornerstone of Evans & Steele’s success.
Bill earned his undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Education at Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma including playing baseball for the Phillips Haymakers. After college Bill came back to Kansas City to teach and coach in the Kansas City Kansas School District. Teaching and coaching translated well into helping individuals and businesses meet their financial goals.
Bill currently lives in Shawnee, Kansas and is involved in the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce. Due to the fact Bill has been touched by cancer in 2009, he is on a mission to help this cause. Bill has been co‐chair of the Relay for Life events at Piper High School in Kansas City, Kansas since 2011. He was also chosen as a Hero Of Hope by the American Cancer Society. This is a select group of people nationwide who’s purpose is to education and bring hope to those who need uplifting support.
